Description

Ceylon is one of the most famous names in tea. The tea leaves are specially selected for quality, size and style. Ceylon green tea keeps a lot longer than other green teas and is flavoured because of this characteristic.

This tea produces a reasonably strong dark-green brew with a memorable fragrance and a long lasting finish. Ceylon green tea is denser than other teas so one or two teaspoons for a teapot is all that is required. If you like green tea then this is a very good example and it really stands apart from all the others we have tried, makes a great gift for a serious green tea lover.

Ceylon green tea - how to brew?
Here are several tips for you to get the most from your ceylon green tea:
Allow boiled water to cool to 82°C then infuse 1 heaped teaspoon per 260ml water for 3-7 minutes according to taste.

The leaves can be reinfused up to 3 times.

Using hot water to pre-warm your cup and utensils for brewing not only clears away any dirt or flavors from previous teas brewed, but it also keeps the tea at an ideal temperature.
Washing or rinsing your tea leaves before brewing can remove any impurities so that you can enjoy the pure authentic flavor of the ceylon tea.
