Description

Green Monkey -  is a very popular green tea from Fujian province. Tea leaves are skillfully coiled into spiral bobbles. Colour of the leaves is saturated green with some white downy tips. Tea leaves smell of hazelnuts, the brew is of yellow-green colour and of freshy, sparkling flavour with a long aftertaste.
A very fine and light green tea. A specialty of the Fujian province of China. So light it is almost like a white tea. The tea is hand rolled and is very delicate.

Green Monkey how to brew?   Here are several tips for you to get the most from your Green Monkey Tea:
Use 0.5 - 1 teaspoon per cup, infuser, filter or teapot. Switch the kettle off, before water boils (about 80oC). Add the hot, but not boiling, water and infuse for 2-4 minutes. Remove leaves from water to ensure infusion remains smooth not bitter.

Leaves
can be used repeatedly until the flavour of the tea is exhausted
Using hot water to pre-warm your cup and utensils for brewing not only clears away any dirt or flavors from previous teas brewed, but it also keeps the tea at an ideal temperature.
Washing or rinsing your tea leaves before brewing can remove any impurities so that you can enjoy the pure authentic flavor of the tea.
