Digestive system

Gastrointestinal complaints are a common problem that can happen to anyone. The most common of these are abdominal pain, feeling full, bloating, gas, constipation, diarrhoea, heartburn, belching, nausea and vomiting.

Herbs for the digestive tract
The best way to deal with digestive ailments is to prevent them, but it is known that this is not always possible. When they appear, let's use herbs that support digestion - their help can be invaluable.

Which herbs for digestion?
There are plenty of herbs for better digestion. Some help to relieve flatulence and act carminative, others have a laxative effect and regulate bowel movements, and others help to stop diarrhea, relieve heartburn or nausea.

- Indigestion, heaviness after a meal, abdominal pain: chamomile, mint, dandelion root, herb, flower, chicory herb and root, calamus, tansy, helichrysum, turmeric
- Flatulence and gas: spices: fennel, cumin, coriander seeds, cardamom, star anise - it is worth making decoctions from them, fresh or dried ginger as tea
- Constipation: Senna
- Irritated mucosa / ulcers / heartburn: psyllium and plantain, calamus, witch hazel, marshmallow, agrimony, lungwort, licorice
